Relationship Read (relationshipread.com)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Deep Roots Physio LLC, an Idaho limited liability company doing business as Relationship Read ("Relationship Read," "we," "us"). By taking an assessment, accepting an invitation, or buying a report on relationshipread.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Relationship Read offers a personality and relationship assessment and AI-generated reports based on your answers. Every person who takes the assessment gets an individual report for free. A person who has taken it can invite their partner. When both have finished, the person who sent the invitation can buy a couples report built from both sets of results. Both partners receive the couples report.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to give accurate information and to use an email address that belongs to you. Only invite someone you are in a relationship with, using an email address that belongs to them.
3. Consent and the couples report
Your individual report is private to you. We do not show it to your partner.
The couples report is different: it uses both partners' answers, and both partners can read it. Both of you must agree to this before your answers are combined. Your partner can decline an invitation, and either of you can withdraw before the couples report is written by contacting us at support@relationshipread.com.
4. Not therapy, counseling, or medical advice
Relationship Read is a tool for self-reflection and conversation. It is not couples counseling, therapy, a psychological evaluation, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Reports are generated by artificial intelligence from self-reported answers. They describe tendencies and preferences, they do not diagnose any condition, and they may contain errors or statements that do not fit you or your relationship.
Reports may not be used as the basis for decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws.
If you feel unsafe in your relationship, do not use the couples report. In the US, you can reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or thehotline.org. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
5. No protected health information
The Service is not designed to receive, store, or process protected health information as defined by HIPAA, and we are not a HIPAA business associate. Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, or treatment information through the Service.
6. Price and payment
The individual report is free. The couples report is a one-time purchase. The current price is $19.99 per couple, and the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
The person who sent the invitation pays, after their partner has finished the assessment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Promo codes may be entered at checkout and are subject to any terms shown with them.
We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect a purchase you have already made.
7. Refunds
If we cannot produce your couples report after you pay, we refund the full amount automatically. Refunds go back to your original payment method and can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
Otherwise, all sales are final once your couples report has been delivered, except where a refund is required by law. If something is wrong with your report, contact us at support@relationshipread.com and we will look into it.
8. Your content and our license
You own the answers you submit. You grant us a license to host, process, and transmit them as needed to run the Service: to generate reports, deliver emails, provide support, and keep backups.
Your reports are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own reports with anyone you choose. You may not resell reports or use them to build a competing product.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service to monitor, pressure, threaten, or control another person; invite someone without their knowledge or using an email address that is not theirs; take the assessment on someone else's behalf; misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service; probe or test its security without written permission; submit unlawful content; or use the Service to spam or harass anyone.
You also agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- Scrape or bulk-extract. Access the Service or its content by automated means, such as scrapers, crawlers, bots, or scripts, or copy or extract its content or data in bulk.
- Train AI models. Use the Service or its content or output, including assessment questions, reports, report formats, prompts, or scoring logic, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve any machine-learning or AI model.
- Reverse engineer. Attempt to derive the Service's source code, prompts, scoring methods, or algorithms, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Rebuild it. Use the Service, or systematic observation of its output, to develop a competing product.
We may use rate limiting and bot detection to enforce these rules, and we may block access that breaks them.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, report formats, design, and branding, is owned by Deep Roots Physio LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Some assessment items are used under license from their authors. These Terms give you no rights to our intellectual property beyond using the Service as described.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may block access if you materially break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we will try to give you notice first. The sections on refunds, your content, acceptable use, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law continue to apply after you stop using the Service.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reports will be accurate or suitable for you or your relationship.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deep Roots Physio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid us nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deep Roots Physio LLC and its members, officers, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or anyone else's rights.
15. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may change the Service and update these Terms. We will post the new Terms here and update the effective date. If the changes are material and we have your email, we will tell you before they take effect. A purchase is governed by the Terms in effect when you made it.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying dispute in small claims court.
17. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
