Privacy Policy

Relationship Read (relationshipread.com)

This policy explains how Deep Roots Physio LLC, an Idaho limited liability company doing business as Relationship Read ("Relationship Read," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use relationshipread.com (the "Service"). We have written it in plain language on purpose.

1. Information we collect

When you take the assessment:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your answers to a self-report questionnaire about personality, relationships, communication, motivation, and life satisfaction.
  • The reports we generate from those answers.

When you invite a partner:

  • Your partner's email address and, if you give it, their first name.
  • A record that each of you agreed to the couples report, and when.

When you buy a couples report:

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, the amount paid, any promo code used, and whether the payment succeeded or was refunded. We never see or store your full card number.

From everyone who visits:

  • Basic technical information common to all websites, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the Service working. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam.
  • We use privacy-friendly visitor analytics provided by Lovable to see page visits, referring sites, country, browser, time on page, and errors. It does not use cookies or identify returning visitors.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to: generate your reports and email them to you; build the couples report and deliver it to both partners; process payments and refunds; credit the person whose promo code you used; answer support requests; protect the Service against fraud, spam, and abuse; and meet legal obligations.

If you take the assessment, we may send you a short series of emails about Relationship Read. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them.

3. What your partner sees

Your individual report is private to you. Your partner never receives it.

The couples report is built from both partners' answers, and both of you receive it. Your partner never sees your individual answers. The couples report does describe each of your results, such as your attachment style, as they relate to the relationship, so your partner will see that summary of you. Your answers are only combined after both of you agree.

4. AI processing

Reports are generated using an AI model provided by Anthropic. To generate a report, we send the assessment answers (with first names for context) to Anthropic's API. For a couples report, that includes both partners' answers. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent this way is not used to train their models.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers we use to run Relationship Read, and only so they can provide their service to us:

  • Lovable Cloud / Supabase: hosting, database, file storage, and visitor analytics
  • Anthropic: AI report generation
  • Stripe: payment processing
  • Resend: email delivery
  • Cloudflare: website delivery and spam protection (Turnstile)

If you use someone's promo code, we tell that person that a sale was made with their code and how much it was. We do not give them your name, email, answers, or reports.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. In that case this policy keeps applying to your information until it is changed with notice.

6. Consumer health data

Some of your answers, such as how you feel about your life and relationship, may count as consumer health data under some US state laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act. For that data:

  • We collect only what you give us in the assessment.
  • We use it only to provide the reports you ask for and to run the Service.
  • We do not sell it, and we share it only with the service providers listed above.
  • You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it at any time by writing to support@relationshipread.com.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your answers and reports for 2 years after your last use of the Service, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

If either partner asks us to delete their data, we also delete the couples report built from it, for both partners. We cannot recall copies already sent by email.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with a hosting provider that encrypts data at rest. Access to reports is limited to the link sent to each person. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the sensitivity of assessment answers seriously and review our security practices regularly.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing email, by writing to support@relationshipread.com. We will respond to every request, and we honor the rights given by the laws that apply to you (such as the GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA or UK, or state privacy laws in the US). We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

10. Children

The Service is only for people 18 and older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used the Service, contact us and we will delete their information.

11. Where data is processed

We are a US company and our service providers process data in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

12. Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar storage only for essential purposes, such as protecting the site against spam and abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

13. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will post the new policy here, update the effective date, and tell you by email before the changes take effect if we have your email.
